Brought to you by Superior North Disc Golf / Sponsored by: The Loop, Disc Republic, Itec 2000, United Fighter, Heartbeat Hot Sauce & more.

!! From Sept 17-28 all players to register in-person at THE LOOP and be entered into yet another prize draw! The mystery box draw value will grow with every player that registers at The Loop on or before September 28th. That is in addition to all registered players receiving one entry into our Zuca Compact cart grand prize draw!!!

The Flying Fall Fiasco will be the final sanctioned event of the 2022 season. It will be a PDGA-Sanctioned C-Tier that will feature a bit of a different format. Two rounds over two days with a few surprises. Round one will have players throw Birch Point 2.0’s traditional 18-hole layout, pause briefly and then play the front 11 holes of the course again for a total of 29 total holes. Round Two, the field will play 18 holes of a very much altered Birch Point DGC. This is to somewhat simulate going to another city/town for a tourney and playing a course blind, only a few of BPs holes will remain unchanged! There will be mini games and random draws on Sunday after everyone’s rounds are complete.

Still on the fence about playing in a tournament? For this event, we are opening our brand new MA4 and FA4 Novice divisions! We realize that tournaments can be a little intimidating to jump into for the first time, especially when even the MA3 division seems to be full of experienced players. The MA4 and FA4 divisions are meant for players seeking their first handful of tournament experiences with a relaxed level of competition. We recommend this division for players that have been playing no longer than two years to ensure a fair playing field for everyone. We will be offering a reduced registration fee for all novice divisions to make the experience even easier! Need more info on these added divisions? Please contact us via our contact form. Last year we opened up the age protected MA40 but we have had requests to open MA50 which we have on a trial basis and a $5.00 reduced cost.

Any and all players with questions about tournaments, remember that we are here to answer your questions no matter how new you might be! Also, please see our post “Am I ready for a tournament?”. To prepare all MA4 and FA4 for the event, SNDG will be hosting a pre-tourney prep clinic to go over basic rules, differences between casual play and tourneys plus a lot more. All first time tournament players will also receive a welcome package from SNDG containing a pre-owned beginner-friendly disc and mini.

There will be a small players pack for all amateur divisions from our local sponsors for the first 30 registered players. Not enough? Well the first 15 players registered will also receive two entries into our grand prize draw for a Zuca Compact Cart from Disc Republic & Itech2000! Draw tickets will be available at player check-ins on day one and day two. Stay tuned for full grand prize draw details. Add in a 50/50 draw, mystery box from The Loop, $50 ace pot, from United Fighter, random draws and more! Registration is open NOW!! (REGISTER HERE!!)

**Please note that Birch Point Disc Golf Course (course only) will be closed during competition hours (Saturday 9am-4pm / Sunday 9am-1pm) as per our permit with the city of Thunder Bay. This is for player safety and the respect of competition, we are sorry for the inconvenience and recommend players seek out one of the other incredible courses in our community for the day. **
